Substitute Opportunities

Teacher and Paraprofessional Substitutes:

Marshall Public Schools is accepting applications for substitute teachers, paraprofessionals, food service, and custodians on an ongoing basis! Please apply today!

Requirements to become a Substitute Teacher:

• Substitute teachers must hold a current teaching certification from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI). 
• Applicants who do not hold a current DPI license are welcome to apply to this job posting with the intent of obtaining a DPI Three-Year Short-Term license.

Requirements to become a Substitute Paraprofessional:

• High School Diploma
• Substitute Special Education Professionals candidates must be able to obtain a Special Education Program Aide License through the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.  The cost for this license is $100.

Custodial and Food Service Substitutes:

• Food Service Substitutes: Seeking candidates with part-time availability on school days. Duties include food preparation and serving, cleaning and sanitation. Positions open until filled.

• Custodial Substitutes: Seeking candidates for daytime or evening work during the school year as needed. Duties include cleaning, floor care, event setup and tear-down, and snow removal. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, have the ability to climb a ladder, and be able to work in a team environment as well as independently.
