Breast Cancer Awareness Week Highlights
During the week of October 20-24, this group of middle school students promoted breast cancer awareness. They offered students the opportunity to wear a hat during the school day, held bake sales and encouraged students to wear pink. The students raised $123.75 that will be donated to the American Cancer Society. Congrats to the girls for their effort to promote such an important cause. Blake and Nathan presented to the school board about the 8th grade trip to DC. Nathan told the board what he learned when he was there and Blake told them about what he hopes to learn from the trip. They did a great job presenting! Thanks guys!
Marshall Students Off to Lambeau Field!!
Students that were actively involved in the For the Love of Play Campaign, achieved Ambassador Level, and had minimum of 20,000 points have been awarded a Trip to the Green Bay Packers Hutson Center in February/March to participate in a training workout with the Packer Staff.

History Projects come Alive!!
8th grade History students spent two weeks researching a Native American tribe of their choice. They practiced appropriate digital citizenship, including paraphrasing what they read and creating a bibliography. To demonstrate their research, they built accurate village recreations and wrote descriptions highlighting the details they included. They were addressing the question: "How do Native Americans adapt to their environments?"
Marshall High School Basketball Super Fan Day!
Join the Marshall Cardinal Men's Basketball team this Friday night as they take on the Lake Mills L-Cats. Tip-off is 7:30pm but the Varsity players will be tossing out 'Super Fan T-Shirts' to the crowd during warm ups so get there early!'
